Our Children Need Us
Here are some tips from ADDitude Magazine for keeping your child at the center of your world:
- Don't multitask when spending time with you child- Put down everything you are doing and focus on him or her
- Keep your promises-always follow through with what you say your are going to do
- Make eye contact with your kids when talking with them, so they know they have your full attention
- Show your children that you're interested in learning about their interests
- Fit your child into your daily schedule-ask him to help you with a task or go shopping
- Drop a note of praise or love in your child's school lunchbox or just tell them!
